Ceramic braces, also called ‘clear braces’ because of their tooth-colored brackets, offer an aesthetic alternative to traditional braces. Non-ligating braces are essentially brackets that do not require tying of arch wire into brackets with wire ties or bands. Temporary anchorage devices (TADs) are used to reduce treatment times, simplify surgeries and ease extractions.
